Boucher sucks! But he could be solid in Utica
- CanuckDon

The other day 2 people had put him in their projected NHL line ups.

Green basically called OJ's camp performance average.

Damn it's nice to have a coach who keeps it real.

Isn't that the "thing" about OJ's game though. When you don't notice him that's when he is doing his best work.

I wonder how the rest of the lines would shake out if Baertschi Granlund Vanek becomes a thing. They certainly looked pretty comfortable together.

He's been noticed a lot though....at least it sounds like he won't have to compete with Mete for ice time this year in London.

I am not sure the playoffs are on the radar.

Sad to see Boucher's stock drop. But I bet Calgary will pick him up just to lock him up in the minors and keep him away from Vancouver. They will call him up when the Canucks play the Flames and he will score twice and Burke will come out in the media and rub it in. So says I.

- Beatle_john

you can count on that, burkie needs help man.

Lots of praise for Chattfield today by Benning Green and the media. He is going to be a good one.

The kid can't skate. Sedins, Vanek, Loui and Boucher? I'm sorry but that's too many slugs for me

Do you have a link?
As much as I was hoping to see Olli do well, I thought he looked a little nervous & overmatched for the short time (parts of a couple of games) that I managed to watch. Still just a kid...

I just heard the clip on 650 earlier today. Not sure where to find it online.

I honestly think he deserved to be cut by now but his draft status is the reason he's still up. He's still very young for a dman so there's no rush. Hoping he improves his defensive game this upcoming season and looks better next year

He struggled defensively at times though, it was noticeable. AHL'ers made him look bad at times. He needs more time to work on his game

I kinda like:

Baertschi - Horvat - Boeser
Sedin - Sedin - Granlund
Vanek - Gagner - Eriksson
Dorsett - Sutter - Burmistrov

If Gagner struggles at C then maybe try Granlund or Burmistrov between those 2. Let Virtanen, Goldobin, Rodin and Dahlen hopefully light up the AHL and call up whoever deserves it when the eventual injuries hit the lineup.

I really don't understand why regular posters here need to engage the Oilers thread.

There must be some short memories out there.

Granlund.

Virtanen deserves to make it but I really prefer to see him play top 6 mins + PP time in the AHL instead of 6-10 mins in the NHL.

to hear he has dominating, game changing skills is unheard of for this team.

The last "dominating" player we had was Bure.
