Never played C for us, he's okay if you want a 12th/13th forward who's physical without letting the game pass him by. He can move, had a decent shot that would pop up once in awhile, but is really only ideal as a 4th line wing that is not expected to produce.

in response to the original blog, not a Rowney fan? I don't regularly watch the Penguins, but he always stood out and looked a solid bottom 6 forward in the playoffs last year.

I don't know. I'm not convinced either way yet on McKegg. I want to see more, but I think he could be a pretty solid 4C.
