I always liked him, Tallon sees something in him, we still don't know what we have.

I agree , the thing I have questions about is contract cap hit

We ruined him? How so when he couldn't skate faster than molasses?

Misdiagnosed back injury.... remember the back injury talk of yesteryear?

Anyone else wanna chime in here?

I think we are finding they are all important. If Gudbrandson does by chance turn out okay and Sutter would have , then it would have been huge as far as rebuilding.

I liked Gudbrandsons last game. If he can play about 80 of those a year no one would be complaining.

Sutter is not the only player to be suffocated by Canucks style speed and cycle game . The list grows month to month

- VANTEL

Sutter was a whipping boy in Pitt too and they didn't have a rep for being a "cycling" team. The same GM traded him away twice.

At least with Gudbranson, you had Panthers fans upset when he was traded.

I think he probably will if he hits the market. He must know what Tallon's ballpark is since they were negotiating before Tallon was "moved" to a new position.

If that's true FLA ends up with ALL the assets from that deal.

Both Linden and Benning signed four year contracts, this is the last year of his deal.

Really?

Who would you rather JV OJ and Pettersson or

Pastarnak Sergachev/Tkachuk Glass?

Secondly you can keep him on as a draft specialist. He is not a great GM at all

I wanted JV myself but not the other two

- VANTEL

Pastrnak for sure but he clearly should have gone top 5 so 20+ other gms missed just as bad

Otherwise, McAvoy

I'll keep Petterson thanks

Even if you're in charge it's often a consensus and you may not get the guy you actualllly like. Sometimes, especially early in a new organisation, you can certainly be forced to make decisions you don't agree with. I'm not saying this definitely happened with JB but I'd still like to know how things went down behind closed doors leading up to each draft.
