I like the idea of the Anderson trade just because then Van has Gadjovich, Virtanen, Anderson, Archibald near future. I like that toughness.

I don't like the price it may cost for Anderson. Plus Van has just too many bodies right now that Columbus won't want.

Ehlers will be better offensively but as I alluded too, he has the right type of players around him to allow him to thrive too. If Van has the chance to get a player of Ehlers type in the coming draft. JV and that player would surely compliment each other.

Horvat is twice the player Ehler is.... probably because he plays center and two way hockey, don't get me wrong Ehlers is a dynamo offensively.. but Bo has much more depth to his game.

It’s still shocking to me that the Jackets do not want to include Anderson in a trade. I've said this many many times, Anderson is a depth winger and those are very replaceable.

Did you notice last night the young group had at least one or two players in front of the net? MDZ goal Jake was in front screening. Even the Sutter goal that would have counted in regular season had two guys in front.

Yes so do I, they're so good on paper but really underachieve and their poor goaltending has hurt them. Ehlers creates offensive chances, kids good and makes others good.
