I dunno how you can reward a player, who has chemistry with Bo, and who potted 18 goals last year, and move him to the 3rd. It certainly is an idea.

This is the problem with the Canucks , they are going to gift 4 forward spots to players that are being outplayed. Eriksson is a joke. Vanek is stupid and Sedins are sentimental.

the problem is, is that the Sedins/Ericsson/Vanek will be gifted spots whether you, me, or the entire fanbase likes it. We can all argue until we are blue in the face, it is going to happen. In a perfect world, the Sedin's would be 3rd/4th line minute players. Despite me cringing at the idea of 14 million dollars in cap being dedicated to 3rd or 4th line minutes, I would much prefer our new age core gets the bulk of the minutes.

As per @kenwardskorner (on SN650), all #Canucks pro scouts will be gathering at Rogers Arena to discuss final cuts today.

I like how Goldobin is a completely forgot about player.

In the end the roster will probably come down to a numbers game. With every single team a young player probably out plays someone but the risk of losing depth to waivers makes teams send a younger player down. Not anything new. Happens every year to every team pretty much.

Wish that JB would stop saying crap like if a player makes it, we will make room. No he won't, no team does.

I don't really do hysteria, I prefer never to get too excited about young players. Unless they show overall consistency. I also have no problem not trying to push players that could still use seasoning. It's preseason remember

thats the nature of preseason though, and kids trying to stand out. If you can't keep up, and aren't doing things to distinguish yourself from the rest, you are going to be forgotten.
