There's really nothing wrong with the trade if it's done at a different time in a rebuild ...at that time it wasn't the best move

If you have a plethora of good young forward prospects and one becomes expendable than sure. Canucks weren't there yet tho. Thats why i disliked it.

McCann the prospect is the soon to be messiah for FLA in a trade for a real NHL D man. Whats he done that counts for real? He can hide behind more talent there than he could if he were still here. I'm guessing that 1 player trade for EG set us back greatly & he is the star that we let get away. The proof that he gets no press other than here makes that true eh?

That's why I didn't mind overpaying for hamonic ...the trade could look bad in years from now ...but they had decent depth in prospects

Florida didn't dress their best lineup and budaj was in net ...so the hat trick should be looked at accordingly

Hamonic was a brilliant trade. Your defense was arguably the best in the west befpre Hamonic, now i dont think they are clear cut, anaheim probably a close 2nd tho
