It’s further away and a little higher end, but you could also check the Village Tavern in Hammondsport. That’s one of my favorite places on earth. For Columbus Day weekend you might need reservations in the next few days. It gets crowded with the wine trail crowd.

Yeah spot on. I wish he'd keep that one timer on the ice or at least lower. That can be fixed, but his skating and vision seem to be better than I heard. I'll take it.

Like he's still adjusting. But all things considered he's been decent.

If you're into history there's a Curtiss museum in or near Hammondsport. I've never been, but I know someone who grew up there and she said they used to spend a few weeks teaching about him in school.

He was a badass dude, holds a bunch of firsts. First time over 100+mph on a motorcycle. 136mph on a 4.0L V8! motorcycle in 1907. Nobody beat that until 1930. Held pilot's license #1, first successful takeoff from a US Navy ship, first successful landing on a US Navy Ship, founded half of Miami: Hialeah, Miami Springs and Opa-locka.

Training camp started 2 weeks ago with medicals, practice started the next day, Saturday, 13 days ago.

Bogo already injured...

Bogosian hurt again. Too bad, because I thought he played well the first 2 periods.

I liked Falk, Antipin and Beaulieu tonight as well. So for the first time in a long time we have some depth on the back end.

Our top forwards just haven't had it this preseason. Eichel was terrible tonight. O'Reilly looks like he's lost a step. Okposo too, but that could be conditioning. Kane is as reckless as ever.

Housely thought Griffith was the team's best forward tonight. What does that tell you?
