Everybody knows that out of the past 10 years of lines that played like 100 minutes together they were the worst. Why would we go back to that?
- manvanfan

It's my guess of TG's moves. He's liked Granlund & Burmistrov at center. He tried Gagner with Sedins didn't work. Sedins an issue either way. Maybe he goes with BB with twins. Switches him to have Sutter with BO. Or they rotate for faceoff domination.

Would say though if a vet falters easier to sit them for DD sub in. If JV doesn't keep up consistency then TG is best to tell him to go down and what to work on.

Then I can see they sign & call up DA as extra. Who when draws in playing with DD centered by Sutter as traditional energy line option.

These are my guesses above based on observation from TG deployments and set up.

PP okay. 5x5 haven't seen that work. Maybe as look see. But 3 old & slow non back checker guys is as good as 3 blind mice as refs.

i must say LE/Sutter/and Dorsett might be the costliest 4th line in hockey history , but it sure sets us up for a playoff run

I don't think it's been tried. Probably tomorrow. You will see them start a lot in the Ozone.
Eriksson Horvat Boeser
Daniel Henrik Granlund
Baertschi Gagner Vanek
Dorsett Sutter Archibald
Burmy.

Archibald really unless he plays his heart out tomorrow, doesn't stand much of a chance. Being on an AHL contract and all.

Bo is out tomorrow and believe Sven too. But the above you put looks like what I said if JV doesn't show consistency and TG sends him down with instructions.

You could tell him it's come down to keeping JV as a starter over DD and having as extra either DA, Chaput or Megna.

Roulette wheel spin on 2 of Biega, Wiercioch or Pedan.

Ooh... you missed a doozy

Unconditional, he's gonna hang out and practice at ubc to try to get on with another nhl team.

It was like page 1 or 2.... and precipitated a good old day of hate.

That was Nucker's tinfoil hat moment.

Rodin has to stay with T-birds to wait for US visa. He's 100% reporting if not claimed.

Using that last ex-game as an example even though it was meaningless we looked ok without the Sedins. Taking that & going forward the Sedins r no lock for another contract. Honouring this contract & their wishes to retire Canucks is one thing but 2018-19 has no strings attached to it.

Hopefully they retire gracefully & the new regime takes over for the next chapter on our journey to ascend once again.

Seamless might be a lil too much to expect at this point in time but wtf not? A year from now all the current players should be better & the TDL & prospects a new season will bring should be an acceptable progression.

This season is very important & the next even more so. TL & JB will be on the hot seat if not already.

Because of the China trip and the subsequent later start to the season it was stated by Green that he planned on trying several different line combinations.

I don't think anyone can make any line up assumptions based on a stated strategy to see how different players interact with each other.

Chapoo and Megapoo get a spot but there's no room for Rodin? I understand you need to build a bottom six, but, that's disappointing.

Lots of talent on the comets, let's see who earns it?
I want to see some ppg play out of rodin, dahlen and Goldy. Should be the top line right there.

Dahlen listed as a center but I'm sure he plays LW.

That's only because you're losing really badly.

I won't throw a whitelie out there. I do write the occasional thing down that comes off here. Only when people make seriously bold statements or who they like in the draft. More or less to see if anything that is spat out on here actually comes true.

Last season,
Vantel and Nuck4u believed Toronto wasn't making the playoffs.
Donna liked Heiskanen at 3.
DCT wanted Mittlestadt at 5.
Reuben said Vilamkai in the top 5
Maury said Timmins will go before 25.

- manvanfan

I thought I said Valimaki was the best defenseman in the draft and I still believe that.

Guesswork assumes nothing and draws on probabilities only. My assumption is that TG will hold true to his statemt that he will mix up lines and keep pairs together he likes.
