Or they can team up and be like Fulton and Portman.
- manvanfan

He looked good with Tanev against the Flames but then again so did our entire Utica team .

Big body, three zone defensemen with a great shot and leadership capabilities. We need this player.

Had a 3 part theory back on page 17. Not a TLDR post either
- Nuck4U

I bet they're just here to play tonight as camp bodies/fillers. Doubt either is in the conversation to stay up. Maybe Chaput as a long shot for 13th forward since he's a center who can PK.

It's hard to judged men who play with Tanev, they all look better. Interested to see him play tonight without Tanev.

Megna Chaput and Rodin will make for a decent line in Utica.

The illness thing seems weird. He just happened to get "sick" after that collision against the flames?

Green is definitely a poker player compared to Willie/Benning/Linden

Does it really matter the reason why he played like that? If you can get that result then play him with Tanev

I'm curious to see how the Utica lines shake out with those guys and Goldobin, Dahlen, MacEwen, etc.

Im still waiting for him to be the next Shea Webber, the tools are there but the sum is not greater then the parts.... if only his slap shot accuracy would increase... needs an nhl17 player edit. I bumped that stat up to 90 and he turned into a20 goal scorer.... just saying

Fair enough lol

Tanev is like dman version of a great playmaking forward. He'll make average/mediocre look good/decent, and an already good man look great.

I've been suggesting all along that playing young/inexperienced dmen with Tanev is a good idea to help with development at the NHL level. Part of the reason why he's the kind of guy who has value to the team even during a rebuild.

Jared Cowen was pretty hyped up too, big mean dman with good raw skills and could skate for his size. I'm all for drafting those types in the mid rounds, but to pass up on higher end skill in the first round for big/fast guys who don't have high end skill/hockey sense is a huge mistake. This isn't pre-lockout hockey.

Gudbranson would be a beast in the clutch and grab era.

Dude SUCKS. Otherwise you defense is pretty solid

Nobody pressuring him, hey lets hammer it down the ice and lose possession.

They only signed him so they could use his mother as the goal horn...

It is nice to actually have the interest in the farm team. I have always followed Canucks players in system, but have never seen so much interest from fans as I have this upcoming season. thumbsup

Yeah May as well . As much as Edler takes heat you can see his value . Both of their point production is horrible but they do keep pucks out of the net.

You got it on Tanev. Vantel was hoping OJ would earn that pairing. Belcher had Hutton there. Seems like that's the winner this season. Too bad he can't help Guddy as MDZ is a chore in couhing things up.

I agree... top 3... nope, in his draft year is have him just outside the top 10 though, he was supposed to put up points but that disappeared at the nhl level, i think that's due to him being rushed to fast in the nhl.
