So Cull isn't very good at coaching or developing?
- manvanfan

I don't remember saying that?

Green holds players accountable, and knows how to develop, I think Virtanen is a good example of that is he not? Green keeping a tight leash on Virtanen might be the best for his development is all Kuzma is saying, you are trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill

I would be a bit annoyed if I was him. It is up to the player to create his own chances but chemistry with Bo and Sven last pre season. Bo and Sven were gone for 2 games in China. Bo's injuried and Sven is Ill. Hasn't exactly had decent line mates. Hopefully he clears and shows up in Utica and shows how good he can be.

Hockey is a bit unfortunate in that regard, but if he's good enough he'll find a way. I hope he isnt claimed, as I want to see Utica run up the score on teams this year, but that possibility still exists

Since I can't quote anyone, Maybe the Canucks can package Rodin with a D in a trade.

Carolina?
Kings?
Montreal?
New Jersey

Does kuzma know that Cull won't hold players accountable? Isn't that why they went and got him because he has helped a lot of Syracuse players develop into NHL players.

Gezz even WD was credited with developing Bo.

You didnt say that, but Kuzma is suggesting that either Jake is a super special case that needs an NHL-whisperer to get through to him, or Cull isnt the best guy for the job.

An NHL team that owns its farm team should have equal faith in the AHL coach's ability to hold them accountable and develop and the guy they chose to lead the NHL team, this shouldnt have been an article

I see TG as a players coach but tough love is his style. He learned what it took to make the NHL & morphed as needed. Play hard n smart n be accountable & TG will have your bacj. Be a Pro if u wanna be in the Show.

I'm not sure I would trust JB not to throw in a couple of picks.

I remember reading reports last year at camp that he signed in Vancouver to basically try to showcase himself and then eventually play for another NHL team. So since that didn't work out, I'd speculate that he asked to be released and is staying in Vancouver so he can hopefully sign with a different NHL team. And if not, goes back to the SHL.

Can't remember the source of the report, but if it's true it seemed like he was never to keen on being a Canuck, it was more about playing in the NHL.

If another team has done their homework on him, he may intrigue a few. Tough sell though as most prefer to dance with the devil they know. Chicago has had good experience with older rookies from europe though..

Benning: Goldobin had an average camp. We like his skill, but he needs to be better in all 3 zones

Benning: Rodin, the hope is that he clears and goes to Utica.

Rodin: If they send me to Utica, I will 100% report there

I endorse this statement. Kuzma's articles are more often bad than they ever are good. I just thought it was a pretty interesting thought.

More irony.

Vanek brought in to insulate the young players . His contract takes up a spot that exposes a young player to waivers.

Kuzma gets his information from Botch. Botch gets his information from Gallagher. Gallagher gets his information from Moj. Moj gets his information from :

I think Green pushed for vets to be brought in. As much as he's an upgrade on WD, like 90% of coaches he prefers having veteran depth and not having to rely on youth unless they force his hand with strong play(Boeser, potentially Virtanen).
