Summary: if not lighting it up & gets 30 goals like BB has real potential for then top 6 winger ain't happening. 3rd line is his best opportunity but that said his game is IIHF style where tons of room & wheeling is easier & checking is much less important. Overall his game does not suit the NHL & he cannot figure it out he will be in limbo til the KHL cones a calling. His agent Larionov needs to clue him in from his own experience when in the NHL.

We need scoring and Vanek will get us 40-50 points. Most of the kids would be lucky to get 20 depending on TOI.

I think that Rodin needs to play a consistent amount of games over a period of time. Not easy to basically take two years off and come back and be right where you left off.
