They have Drai for the playoffs doe - Nucker101
Living here, I'm really excited for when the top heavy roster starts getting their knees cut out by bad depth players in a year or so, but the morons like Debrusk, Rishaug and Spector carry water for management saying that it is actually McDavid and Draisaitl's fault. |

Jonah Gadjovich's shooting rate is so good.
19 SOG in 3 games.
He was top 10 in the OHL last season as well. - classic321

That's going to be their downfall, Chia is too old school to factor in how to be efficient with cap spending around those 2. |

I hate that pairing. - belcherbd
I'm terrified that Gudbranson has a mediocre first half and gets himself an extension, and then the dopes on SN radio, like Walker, are like "is 5 years and 5 mil really bad? no its good!"
I'm hoping like hell Tallon is tampering like (frank) with Guddy's agent to get him back to Florida on some stupid contract |

I liked Suzuki a lot and was meh on Gadj due to his skating. I hope he improves in that area. His game along the boards and in front of the net is excellent. But he'll need to gain a bit speed to translate into the NHL imo |

Your expecting a 27 g season from Brock.... The kids good but you need to temper your expectations IMO - belcherbd
A lock for 20 & tempering nothing when the kid is a sniper. My 2 bits. |

Not a big fan of Chia
he is extremely overrated. He inherited the best young talent in the entire NHL with enough trading pieces to help him build.

I'll say 18-22 goals if he gets consistent PP time and decent 5v5 minutes. |

Agreed. But I'll admit that the Hall-Larsson trade worked out better than I thought it would. |

It didn't even take a Cup in Edmonton like it did in Boston for him to start trading away his talent for the cap space to give to bad depth players too much money. |

I still wouldn't make it, but I thought Larsson would struggle in EDM, but he's looked pretty solid. Klefbom is their stud though, so underrated.
I can't call it a bad trade at this point. |

I think it worked out for them indirectly.
Larsson is solid, but Taylor Hall should have brought back more.
Tanev is better than Larsson, and I don't think Tanev could return that today.
People overestimate how good Larsson is because Kelfbom is sooooo good.
When he is not paired with Klefbom his numbers drop |

It is, but its a bad trade they had to make because McTavish was as bad as Tambellini at evaluating defenceman at the NHL. If the team still had Petry and hadn't gone all in on Schultz they're in a way better spot going forward.
It might really look bad though if Draisaitl can't regularly drive his own line. He's had two good years in the NHL, but if you look at his WOWY's away from Hall and McDavid he's been positively third liner. The playoffs last year was the only time he really drove his own line, but that was only 13-14 games or whatever. |

When Russell and Larsson were together last year they were swiss cheese. Larsson Nurse was okay. Larsson Sekera was pretty solid.
He's a perfectly fine Dman but he really needs a stud to handle transition. |
