Oh it would drain the life out of me to watch Megna on a gamely basis, but if it means JV gets real minutes and situations in the AHL then i'll suffer.

Because 6 minutes, or up to 10, every game isn't conclusive to development or goal scoring long term. If JV's getting only legit 4th line minutes and usage he could have 2 goals by game 20 realistically and I don't think anyone wants that for him.

He's gonna average 1 goal per 6 mins? Gretzky didn't even do that.

It's better to have him playing 16+ mins in the AHL instead of 8 in the NHL. Hopefully Green trusts him more than that so he's playing 10+ mins in the NHL

Beats having Goldy being invisible while everyone else does the heavy lifting. If JV goes to Utica its cuz of waiver exempt cuz he's looked good & shown his game has picked up a lot. I'd package Goldy up & find a good NHLer we can get use out of.

I like his hustle/heart but yeah he struggles against more talented teams.

I think Green will play 4 lines like Willie but the difference is we actually have decent depth. Our 4th line should get decent minutes

Bo had to beat out Linden Vey. It would have been hard for him not to move up.
