They have always skated that way. Their game is that tight passing cycle in the offensive zone. They have always been strong with the puck when they have possession but never have really shown that they have NHL speed.

That's odd. I swear they are slower at this age. Not just foot speed but in decision making, pass speed, shot release... everything pretty much. Foot speed looks slower than any time of their career to me.... the biggest regression.

I guess they need better bounces to be 100 point players again if they haven't slowed down... or was it just WD's fault? We'll see at the end of the season.

Vantel won't like your post. Sounds like you are making a case for resigning these guys that never age.

Ray Ferraro says the first thing that goes is the hand speed , then you know it's getting close to over.

I think you can see everything is slowing down about their game. I think they will have about 30 to 40 point seasons and then there will be a line up behind me.

Not morning hate just simple math, time is passing by.

Dude....

That's not why I left. I left because this place became unbearable if anyone criticized Benning back then. I can handle being made fun of lol. Now it's finally socially acceptable around here to criticize management because it turns out that some of those moves people freaked out over did turn out to be horrible.

You are and have been rewriting what happened. You were poop all over for your melt down and trolling and gave yourself a horrible reputation after parading through here a new Flames fan when they eliminated us in the playoffs. The biggest slap in the face you could possibly give fellow Canuck fans in here... but you over and over tell this story of how you were victimised for simply criticising Benning. You dropped all that routine and look... you can criticise Benning and be treated like a human being still... it's not because it's fashionable... it's because it's not dripping with spite as you poop on us.

I for one confronted you over the extreme spins you were putting on everything Benning. It was so far beyond "criticisms" that is was in the realm of fabrication at times... not just on Benning himself... but on posts that tried to reason with your spins... every quote was an extreme misquote that was also in the realm of fabrication.... typical of someone in blind hate mode.

I thought you would avoid the topic of why you left out of embarrassment but you have been making "I was a victim" comments a fair bit lately.

But it's okay to put our 6OA pick playing 4th line?

Not only foot speed now. I noticed a couple of times in the Kings game the hand speed and reaction time was slower. It's preseason so keep an eye on it.

when hearing TL talk, it is like it is up to the Sedins when they want to retire. I think a 40 point season will take that decision out of their hands.

they should be split up 5v5, at least to try it. they are both too slow.

dump and chase is a challenge, although I've noticed sometimes Hernik gets the puck and holds on to it while Daniel gets a few strides going, before he dumps it in.

their back check after losing the puck is almost non existent.

they have a whole season to decide their future.

we have two 2nd lines and three 3rd lines. or one 2nd line and three 3rd lines, depending how full the glass is.

Penalties every game . The speed is not there.

They are smart guys and their letter earlier this year said if they struggle this year then it will be time

IDK, it seems as if they have always been that slow, we are just looking for it now.
- manvanfan

and as you said above, the game is getting faster.

I just hate seeing them lose possession in the offensive or neutral zone and there is no apparent urgency to get it back or get back to defend.

You still think the Flames fan thing was real

What victim card? I chose to leave and post on other message boards because I no longer enjoyed this one due to lack of decent discussion. I didn't say I left because I was being victimized. Jesus Christ.

Stop making poop up.

I criticized moves I didn't like, if people can't handle that then that's their problem. But I got fed up when people responded to everything with nonsense instead of trying to have a discussion. I like having deeper discussions with valid points and logic, not just "omg we're not pro GM's so stop trying to think for yourself" or "let's wait and see before ever commenting on a move" or "be a cheerleader like the rest of us"

I decided to fight fire with fire before eventually leaving.

If I trigger you this much then just ignore me man. It's just a website to talk hockey.
