First of all, the Thursday games always suck ratings-wise and 2nd of all ratings have been going down for years. Last year they were plummeting and the NFL was scrambling to stanch the bleeding. The ratings are down, a bit, but not what is being portrayed as half the people not watching.

I remember this specific game because I was working on a video project for my History class with a bunch of my classmates and my house was our base for the day and we kept coming in and out to see the score of the matinee game.

The Sabres would've had gotten in the next game the year Gerbe scored that goal. So that's like half as good as what Barnes did.
