Crazy morning...

My daughter was 4 on 9/11. My son was 3 months old. I didn't have any warning it was gonna be like this.

However, they're surprisingly numb to the whole issue.

Agreed. My wife got a call at 1AM here asking if we had heard from my parents. We were both clueless because I have to be up at 3:30AM. My wife called my mom and they said they were okay, just trying to hear back from those that stayed at the show.

I'm 29 and considering getting the snip.

My mom and step-dad were at the show but left early. Two of their friends stayed. One of them was next to two people who were shot.

I was taking my 4 year old to school today and I was listening to the radio and they started talking about it, I turned on the WGR app to avoid her asking questions about it...The first caller said the Bills kicking game is carrying them like the Super Bowl Bills teams...we sat in silence until we got to her school

Why....i was in 7th grade English class when 9/11 happened...The teachers turned on the TVs in the classrooms so we could watch the news before we were sent home from school.

(lol this is inapplicable to very young children)

There are 14, 4 year olds in her class, I don't think the teachers have time to talk to each other chasing them around.

It helps you stay grounded and realize how truly innocent and pure they are.

I know teachers are probably going to be whispering about this at school but I feel they shouldn’t do it when they have kids around it’s my opinion ..

I think it should be up to the parents if they want to involve their kids into this

I didn’t realize he was sniping from the hotel room that’s just absolutely disgusting Makes you sick to your stomach

Turned our plane around, sent us to this underground area at the airport. Heavily guarded with police force that probably doesnt even exist on paper. Like something out of a movie but it was real life. My mom had major reactions to the stress of what was happening and everything. I knew what had happened (was 8 at the time) but i didnt fully grasp it.

It amazes me that essentially we all start out this way and yet we end up with people that do the things like happened last night in Vegas. It really makes we wonder where things went wrong with the people that do these things.

A large part of it seems to be ego driven. One of the people that was the attacker at a community college in Colorado bragged online about what he was going to do and then went through with it.

It's like a validation of their online persona, so that their "friends" can praise them posthumously.

i still get flashes of it from having to sleep there for a few days to the news on every screen.

when i look back on it and think of things now and how id handle it if i were in my dads shoes...
