Hagg, Morin, and Sanheim have done exactly what they were doing last year. They were ready for it. Heck, maybe even some NHL experience at the end of last season makes them look even better this preseason. - YuenglingJagr
Not saying you're right or wrong but that is a matter of opinion.

I didn't realize the Flyers were preventing people from complaining or forcing them to buy tickets to games. |

Just an aside...I am excited for the "We want Morin/Sanheim" chants. Hopefully there is time in between the woooooos |

They have to. Have you seen the absolute crap they have for a roster? It's awful. The worst. Management is dumb. They should all be fired. |

I get that but after watching this team the last couple of years and the inconsistent play of some these bottom of the line up types, all three deserve a shot after simply outplaying the vets in camp. If I'm Morin and they sent me back in place of Andrew Macdonald, I think I would ask my agent to request a change of scenery. As someone said yesterday "how much more could Morin have done"? Its not like these guys are trying to crack the defense of the 1976 Canadians. - landros 2
Oh I don't disagree AT ALL. all 3 would be on my team and playing. just saying if only 2 are making it, 2 of them need to be in the damn lineup. I just didn't get not playing Morin and it makes me wonder if he will be a healthy scratch on the west coast |

The one thing I will say I hope doesn't happen : Kids make one damn mistake that the vets make countless times and it's held against them. |

I would suspect that with Ghost out, Sanheim would play. We will see |

It already happens, but I don't think they should be trying to just get the kids to play to the level of Andrew MacDonald. They should be the best that they can be |

Lot of old school minds under the big wigs.
Damnit (frank). I was excited for this year with the probable infusion of more young talent. |

I was hoping Lindblom and all 3 rookie D would make the team out of camp. However, I don't think it's going to make the difference of a playoff team or not. If Lindblom goes to the Phantoms and is an offensive force, he'll get recalled. With the D, if the two on the club are playing well, the Flyers may be more comfortable with bringing up a 3rd rookie, or if one isn't playing well they can make the adjustments. I think by Christmas both will be recalled.
You know what is going to make the difference of making the playoffs or not? The goaltending! And I'm not sure it will be good enough. I don't know what could have been done differently but, I think this is where Hextall should get criticized. I am a big fan of the direction of the team and know there are goalie prospects coming but who knows when they will be NHL ready. |

I have this sneaking suspicion that there will be a stigma in regards to having 3 rookie D on the blue line. So my guess would be no. |

Don't make me mad. Today just isn't a day to do that...
It's been a crazy Monday at the office and then the news from Vegas. I'm just not sure I can handle another gut shot today. |

All will play if Gostisbehere is out. Manning is a 7th unless there is injury once they are down to 7 dman.
If Gostisbehere can't go this will probably be the lineup Wednesday night:
Provorov - MacDonald
Hagg - Gudas
Morin - Sanheim
Manning 7th
Gostisbehere hurt

The issue is Hextall, Hakstol, and Holmgren, and their lack of balls.
Play the rookies, they earned it. - MBFlyerfan
Earning it isnt the problem, putting them in a position to succeed is. They will not succeed if the only mentor they have is Radko Gudas. There has to be some Vets to help these young guys through the rough patches. |

This is my whole point. Its NOT going to make a difference, so get them in there and let them take their lumps and get some bruises, and learn. |

I think there is some validity to that but I would counter with who was Provorov's mentor last season? If you can play, you can play. Looking at all the factors the balance scale for me comes out on letting all three play and make the team.
