You add the pts of Eberle, Barzal, full season of Ho Sang and a few PP pts for Pulock and the isles could hit 100 pts - kindlyrick
I would take the over too. 100 points doesn't mean what it used to since the 3 point games. |

I am the first one to chirp this team, but I think the culture literally changed before our eyes with Weight. No more coddling. It’s ok for someone to make a mistake.....under Weight they bounce back. Capuano ruined guys. Barzal couldn’t even make Capuanos lineup. Joke |

Easy Ref. Andrew Ladd albeit slowing down has a career of pretty consistent and good numbers.
If I'm the Penguins coach, I put Sidney out against Barzal everytime I can! Don't think Torts, AV etc. aren't going to do the same thing.
You need the back end to work as well imho. - nyisles7

I think the real difference is that with cappy they knew a mistake would lead to the press box and therefore they played more tentatively. With weight it's ok to make a mistake so long as you learn from it and keep working |

Guess what with every coach it's ok to make a mistake if it's out of character, however if it continues or is the norm your looking for trouble.
Quenville, Hitchcock, Dare I Say Arbour didn't stand for mistakes.
I was told a story where Potvin pinched in a 3 - 3 game against the Habs, Gilles was covering for The Captain and LaFleur decked Gilles put the puck between his legs and scored which won the game. Arbour as usual when the team lost was walking around the locker room just looking at everyone, and every vet knew not to say anything. He stops by Jethro and just looks at him, Gilles being a rookie, after a bit says, I should have closed my legs, after about a minute Arbour looks at him and says no your mother should have closed her legs.
Mistakes aren't ok when it comes to the coaches who win. Mistakes wind up in the back of the net. That's not ok. |

Great Al Arbour story, 7, except that you meant LaFleur DEEKED Gillies, not decked Gillies. No one decked Gillies, not Schultz, not Williams, not O'Reilly, least of all LaFleur. |

Did those guys put their players in the box for oh the next 7 games? Of course he doesn't want to see mistakes but it's also part of the learning process. Knowing anything you do wrong will get you benched makes you apprehensive and not aggressive.

Yesterday I reffed with a guy who did Pro in the minors and he did games with Trevor Gillies. Gillies used to stand at the red line and stare at the opposing team and tape his wrist and forearm then he do a couple laps and take his other wrist and forearm. They knew they were in for it if he didn't take a shot in warm ups yes I know you guys are reffing to 9 but thought this was funny |

Hitchcock didn't stand for mistakes but he still makes the most though. Case in point, the 2015 and 2016 playoffs |

If he hadn't been such a "scumbag", they probably don't win 4 cups. |
