Reputation means a lot though, especially in the world of sports when you're talking in terms of how good someone has been during their career.

You'd have to have both Bergeron and Rask fall off the highest of proverbial cliffs this year for that to even remotely change how people view them as players.

Contenders....Not so sure, playoff sure....still have some scoring issues, and then you would need to find a power forward to replace kane.

I think you put OR or JT on wing in this scenario. We'd need a lot of bargain wingers like the Pens. But that center depth would be bonkers.
