Hey guys, I'm about to do my NHL arrest fantasy keeper pool.

Should I take Hudler, or keep with Ribeiro?

Thanks

His shoes were too tight, so he says.

It had nothing to do with being in Vegas and all that goes with it.

I think we're all a little gun shy right now. We've seen this before (Trent Edwards, I'm looking at you). Started the season off 5-1 and ended the season 6-10. We're cautiously optimistic right now.

I'm excited for the Bucs/Bills game this year. Hopefully the Bucs get Kwon Alexander and Lavonte David back for that game. Doug Martin is back so they should have a much more balanced offense as well.

The "fumble" call on Sunday was perhaps the worst call in the history of sport (except for the non-call on Gretzky, of course), but having said that, I don't know, the Bills just seemed to have a weird confidence about them. I felt like they were going to win on Sunday, no matter what happened - when is the last time you had that feeling about the Buffaloes?

If the Pats can't get their defence figured out, who the frank knows, this just might be a fun ride with the Bills this year.

His agent wanted him to wait until after the season. Thought he could get more. Eichel wanted it done now and didn't want to wait to get more.

So it's a bit of the latter, but not entirely. I love Eichel, and at the end of the day I think this deal ends up being a good one, but overall, he hasn't earned that kind of payday quite yet. I don't think there's a question of whether or not he will though, to be quite honest. The answer is yes.

- HonkFortheGoose

Fair enough.
I don't doubt he'll be worth it in the long haul. He may have a few 'Toews-lastyear-like' seasons in there... but that happens with long contracts.
Hopefully he can stay healthy... that's the bigger question mark with him form his history. Been unlucky with injuries in the past.

That was probably our best chance to ever win the cup that i can think of.. that team was damn good.. still pisses me off we had to go like 14 deep on our d depth chart (and still were competitive-ish)

I was at the game Sunday and that is the first time in a long long time i have felt that heart pounding nervous feeling and then that was excitement.

Also the new dome here in Atlanta is gorgeous!

No - it was against Washington.

And I've never heard that about the Bills - maybe you are thinking about the Patriots before the 1985 Superbowl?

You're right. There have been a few calls that have been questionable that have come up in the Bills favor. It's usually the complete opposite around here. The Pegulas said they wanted to change the culture here. I think they found the right guys in order to actually do that this time. For the most part, the roster has a lot of guys that nobody has probably ever heard of before, but man have they done their job so far.

Really liking what I see. Just have to hope the injuries don't pose a problem. Depth is thin. Though at this point it seems like everyone has that "next man up" mentality so hopefully it continues that way.
