I was just stating how unreasonable leaf fans are. If you think he will win MVP then he will make more then Mcdavid. If you are being reasonable and expectation that make sense and say he wil score 35-40 goals and around 75 points. Then yeah expect 10-10.5 million for 8 years.

Matthews should want closer to $12 than $10 mil per. Obviously, if he tears it up again this year (40 or more goals) he will be getting that, wonder what Toronto GM will be willing to pay for him.

He's not in Jrs. He's in college, which as far as I know is where we'll see a lot of the guys on the Team USA coming from.

EDIT: As a result, this year’s U.S. team will be made up of players from professional teams in Europe, colleges or the American Hockey League, which is the top minor league to the NHL. Players on two-way NHL-AHL contracts will not be eligible.
