With them signing close to 30 million it will leave little room for JVR, Bozak, and Gardnier. I know having great young players isnt a good problem to have but it will put them in salary cap jail. I feel like they will have to get rid of one of them to make things work.

There's an outside chance JVR stays if he takes a huge haircut - but let's be honest, he won't do that, nor should he.

If that is the case their goes all your depth and without them two I dont think you will have the fire power to make up for your poor defense. Kapanen is going to be good but i dont think he will be to make up for JVRs production. You have to resign Gardiner which cost you around 7 million. I mean I still think they will be one of the top teams but they will have to make some big moves to have room to sign/trade for a top defenseman.

Will make for a fun trade deadline and offseason.
