stepped on a 16c nail at 10 yrs old at camp. Doctor dug out the rust and whatever from my foot in his office . The didn't have the good numbing stuff like today. Mom and dad had to hold me down as he did it .

The only thing I ever use canned tuna for are tuna sandwiches/wraps or macaroni salad.
Both of which require you mix it up in some mayo. If you want, you can try mixing it up with some smashed up avocado and it's supposed to have a similar result as mayo. I haven't tried that myself yet.

I don't get what the big deal is....in afghanistan i used to love eating chunk light (in water) chicken of the sea tuna straight out of the can.

I had a bicycle fall on my leg and the sprocket dug into my shin and rolled up my skin leaving about .5"x1.5" gap. Didn't bleed much, but obviously I needed to go to the ER. I was maybe 12? Anyway the doc was a wiener and didn't use any novocaine and was cleaning out the grease and pulling the flap of skin, then before the easy part, the stitches, he finally used novocaine. That hurt like a mofo.
