What the hell are they thinking, haven't they heard you cant do this??
- gordong
I loved it with danny ,drury |

Sure but then you have Pommer on the third line with some pretty scrubby players. - MCGUIZZY
don't forget, there were many instances over the course of the last two seasons that Larsson's line was the best line out there...Gionta had strong numbers as did Foligno...
and, i'll add, gus played on Larsson's wing in Rochester and they played pretty well together....
gus/lars/pommer isn't a bad two-way, third line |
|
|
|
I think its
First unit:
Eichel, Oreilly, Reinhart, Okposo, Risto
Second unit:
Kane, Pommer, Griffith, Beaulieu, Antipin
They really must love Griffith - MCGUIZZY
he an pommer may have helped push Moulson into the press box |

I think he is decent. I don't think he's looked decent at center, going back to last year. - sbroads24
Really? I thought he showed some good flashes at center last year, but has definitely looked lost this year, is this wrong? |

Was surprised to see both Moulson and Gorges in the press box. Definitely did an internal fist pump on that one. |

Good point and I wouldnt hate that.
I we could afford to at some point, I would like to see something like:
Rodrigues-Reinhart-Pommer |

I don't mind that as much.
You drafted Reinhart #2, not to be your 3rd option at center, IMO.
Yes, I want three scoring lines, but we don't have the wingers for that yet, and Reinhart has yet to show any semblance of creating offense for others at center |

"Dannon made the decision after Newton laughed at a question asked by Charlotte Observer reporter Jourdan Rodrigue on Wednesday and said it was "funny to hear a female" ask a question about routes, per ESPN.com's David Newton."
this country is too sensitive
If a mechanic was working on a car, and a female said did you check the head cover gasket for the leaking issue, I am sure he would chuckle for a minute
Just like if a male asked a woman reporter about shoes

Rodrigues was having a pretty strong camp, too bad he got injured...
Griffith looked good on the Eichel/kane line...wouldn't be surprised to see him get a shot at some point tonight if he's still playing well |

Gionta and lars had pretty good chemistry...maybe it's me, but I see pommer as the same type of player Gionta was for buffalo |

Doing something sexist in the public eye is frowned upon and never right.... Dannon has that right as a brand that probably caters to female advertising more than men due to consumption.

I'm gonna get on my high horse here a minute...
So this kind of ties in with the whole race issue that exists in this country, meaning that if you're not African American and/or a woman, you don't know or understand how differently those groups of people are being treated in our society.
I know how to change my own oil. And change a tire on my car. I can open the hood and tell you what just about every single thing is underneath it. I know about gas lines, how terrible gear oil smells and all that good stuff.
Yet, when I walk into a place to get my oil changed (because honestly, it's easier to go somewhere and have them do it) they try to sell me every god damn thing under the sun. Like a freaking Cabin Air Filter for $50 freaking dollars. The same part I can go to the store and buy for like $12.95.
That doesn't even touch on the fact that women get paid less to do the same jobs as men in most areas of the American workforce and generally have to pay more for the same types of products (deodorant, razors, etc).
So while what he said isn't generally insulting to you (a white male), it is to women. And I'm not exactly the over sensitive type. Just trying to point out that there are inequalities. I generally brush them off, but that doesn't mean they don't exist in our society.
What he said was inappropriate, end of story.
I'm now back off of my high horse. This is all I have to say on the subject. |

You can bet that the individual person/persons at Dannon who made the decision probably didn't give two poops about that themselves. However, it was still necessary to keep its brand out of bad favor with the mob that is the court of public opinion. |

I think Griffith is just a place holder until one of the Roch guys steps up. Not expecting much from him but we will see. Really hoping to see Rodrigues back in the line up soon. |
