the appeal of fireworks.
i like a good professional firework show as much as the next guy but spending a bunch of money on things that go BOOM never made much sense to me. - Gramps28

kickbro just signed the lease on a badly tilted apartment in a 200 year old building. it looks like a mine shaft with exposed wood beams above you and the walls are brick with a bolt sticking out in one corner of the living room.
badly tilted. like if you sat a full drink on the floor it would spill over one side.

i don't understand any of this. - kicksave856
this is the key
apartments with brick walls is trendy af with hipsters and millennials now. He's gonna get tons of Starbucks pussay
but they're bricks from 1934 or some poop. you can see where they've leaked and been sealed.
also the place is about the size of your living room.
kickbro makes terrible decisions. - kicksave856
all he needs to do now is buy a bunch of mason jars to use as cups and buy a standing clothing rack to hang all of his shirts and jackets on and he's set

Pandora Schoen, a Jewish 11th grader at the school, said she saw the student in the Hasidic costume when she was walking between her second and third period classes. She had already been warned by a friend about it, but the shock of his costume — black clothes, curly sideburns called pais and white scarf meant to be a tallit — triggered tears.
While she cried, other students were laughing, she said.
She and her sister, 12th grader Stefania, both filed reports at the guidance office and thought the incident was handled appropriately. They said the costume evoked images of Jews shown in 1930s Nazi propaganda in the years leading up to the Holocaust.
Being Jewish, Pandora said the shock of the costume triggered tears as it conjured images of pre-Holocaust Nazi propaganda. .
Stefania said she saw that the boy wore the same costume at a party last weekend and told him Sunday on social media that it was offensive. She said he apologized for offending her, but he still wore the costume at school on Thursday.
