Look is it similar yes. But snow isn't in charge of the systems and power play that's on weight, he's implementing some new stuff and it takes time let's see where we are at at the 20 game mark. If its the same poop I'll join the mob - Upstate_isles
I am asking this sincerely, what do you see so far that is different from last year? The only thing I see is that they are willing to play the kids. Other than that it looks identical.

I'm saying that it takes sometime to implement a new system as you need to start from camp. Idk if they are trying something different but you'd have to think they are. Maybe they are teaching them and still getting used to it. Pp sucks big cock

I really want to believe you're right, but I just don't see it. They had a month to put a new system in place. We should see some signs of it. I guess we'll know after some more games. It's not like we can do anything about it anyway.

If us bitching could propel them to a Stanley Cup they'd be chasing their 25th cup right now. - JimmyP
So true, also jt can't complain about the ice i read this after today's avs Bruins game
Duchene has never lost a game in regulation in Boston in his career.
“I love playing here,” he said. “I don’t know what it is. Even though the ice was like sandpaper tonight. Three nights of Bruno Mars (who played the Garden recently) will do it.”

This was my point. We heard many teams last year mention poor ice and it was not just Barclay's. Some Tampa players said the Barclay's ice was better than their building. JT has to just let it go already. The Owners are trying to get a new building. Nothing else to do.

All the wins in pre-season is nice, but I really hope they put a lot of time in with the new system. That should have been the #1 priority and not wins and losses.

You obvoislusly didn't read the obscure NHL clause that states:
If a team does not post a pre-season regulation loss; that team is automatically granted a post seasons berth no greater than what would have earned based upon said team's regular season results.

So we're in! - JimmyP
No wonder Doug talked up the undefeated pre-season so much.
I like the effort the guys put in today. Allen was tough. Greiss had good game, Shootouts just have never been his thing. - Spartiarti
He mentioned it twice however in the context he was using it he was implying that no one could try to do much that late and to keep it simple. That's what I got out of it, he was talking about late in the 3rd and ot. He made a great move in ot and just missed scoring. Also how fast is leddy to catch those guys like he did? Still slashed the guy but what speed
Geez, such downers. We're 1-1-1. Usually we play really bad in 1 pm games. We outshot them. Allen was a wall until he lost his mask basically(lol). We're not chipping and chasing anymore. Don't know why people aren't noticing that cause those are improvements. Mayfield is skating a lot better than last year. The PP - goalwise - sucks yes, but game by game we're generating more chances. My main criticism is on CDH. He's been dreadful during this small stretch. I get it's 3 games, but 5 on 5, he's not been himself.
Barzal looks like he belongs right now. Unlike Ho-Sang, Barzal knows when to pass the f'n puck and when to take a shot. Now, if the team shows signs of 5 on 5 regression during a huge stretch, then I'll panic and release a 6 min fb vid of me venting my frustrations again(and they ain't pretty neither).
