So we won but it certainly wasn't pretty.
I think Buffalo sucks. |

Yeah, the Sabres are not Cup contenders to put it mildly. |

Any chance we see Toews up here soon? |

I don't think so. They already have 8 d-men who require waivers to be sent down. And their roster space is full unless Clutterbuck is seriously injured and they put him on IR. |

Just finished game, they looked better but still sloppy in d zone. Barzal needs to bury that empty netter , 66 looked good, WTF pp |

Very sloppy all over. I love 66 but he needs to stop hanging on to the puck for so long. PP sucks, like the year before, and the year before that, and the year before that, and the year before that ...
Maybe they need a new PP scheme. |

Most teams aren't 28th in the league on the power play. - JohnScammo

Halak and Ho-Sang made this game way too much closer than it should've been. Offense was clicking. I think we have a definite first and 2nd line. The 3rd and 4th will take a month figuring out. |

Yeah, that's got me a bit concerned. It's not so much any player or players...all five players seem to just follow the puck around, leaving dangerous people wide open.
They had their legs last night, though. Barzal looked really good even though he didn't hit the score sheet.

He looked real good between Beau and Ho Sang. Guess he’s not just a 4th line center after all... |

Yup, Casey had a good game. I think too much is sometimes made of the line numbers. In today's NHL, most teams roll 4 lines. The tradition of stocking your goons on the 4th line are over.... |

Shannon Hogan had a good interview with John Tavares after the last night's game. The only thing, she forgot to ask him one question. |

Guys this team is not a bad team I still think there are three or four seed in the division sure they sucked against Columbus but Columbus just got crushed by Chicago. Pittsburgh got beat 10 to 1 and then came back and shut out Nashville it's a marathon not a Sprint. If this team can get it Power Play On Track they are going to score a lot of goals, halak looked very good last night minus the terrible turnover. |

It is not a bad team Upstate. It's more about they playing a good structure and not chasing the puck and leaving guys open like UIF mentioned. You can see the talent from guys like Barzal, Beau, and Ho Sang. It's going to take a little more time and experience. |

Casey played real well, JT, Nelson, Casey, Halak and Tito were my top 5.
They won but honestly they won't win against the upper echelon teams in the league the way they played on the defensive side of the puck imho. They need to tighten things up, please. |
