The NFL's rating are going down, but they were before this whole kneeling thing happened. First of all, their ratings couldn't get much higher, so they were going to decrease. Secondly, it's all about markets that are doing well. San Diego and St. Louis actually did very well, and a lot of people tuned out because of the relocations. The NFL will recover when the games really start to matter.

I actually think Fantasy sports have hurt this too. People seem to care more about fantasy than their own team, at least on a week to week basis, which is fine. However, when that happens, your interest in one game wanes. Your more inclined to do something else and just check your stats on your phone.
