Going to my first regular-season game in quite a while. Home matinees usually are pretty fun and I'm calling Sabres 5-3.

Season is only 2 games old...way too soon to be negative.

This is a sverely overrated thing in sports.

Culture does not exist. Winning and losing exists.

When you are losing you have "Bad culture" When you are winning you have "good culture"

Send Reinhart down if he does not want to try or he is upset about his linemates. He should also be centering the 4th line. He is too slow and faster players need to get a chance. Disappointing drop pass by Beaulieu but this guy is inexperienced, its to be expected. At least he looks like he gives a poop, not like Reinhart.

After the Islanders game I would try this.

Teams in the past that have had new coaches to start the season have had tendencies to start slow and trouble adjusting to a new system. Flames with Gulutzen, sharks with de boer, etc. It usially takes 10 games or so, but i think the sabres will adjust quickly in the coming weeks. Patience. Short term pain for long term gain.

I don't know I must be blind. Everyones saying how Jack and Kane are doing so well. Yeah Kane got two goals. To me Eichel is not playing his best hockey and there's a reason. That's all I'm saying. Until Housley gets Reinhart on the same line as Jack his point production will stagnate if not falter.

if buffalo could get a new goalie 4 defencemen and six more forwards they just might make the playoffs

Culture is huge in ANY organization.

Winning will feed into it positively, but you still have to lay a solid foundation.

I think in this situation, it's rated correctly.

Putting Moulson with Reinhart is a death sentence for reinhart. Guaranteed no production. I think you have to give Kane to Reinhart

It's a depth/cap issue imo. The first game of the year 14 mil wasn't on the ice (Bogo, Moulson gorges). Not many teams can afford to have 14 mil unused
