Really liked that 4th line against the Habs....then Moulson happened.

given the turnaround you expected and the 180 you made after game 3 im not sure why you disagree
- Sabresfan-365

I my opinion, you sometimes take small pieces of information and use them to reach very exaggerated hypotheses that are really unsupportable. For example:

A) The NHL did not "go to lengths" to advise the Pegulas to hire Botterill.

B) Yes the team is 0-2-1, but to imply that the coach and the GM are both on the hot seat or even "on a short leash" is pretty alarmist.

3). I did not "make a 180 after game 3." I presume you're referring to a comment I made during game three that said "Jesus Christ," which was an entirely appropriate response to a disastrous game, but in no way an indicator that I have completely changed my expectations for the team.

Why would NHL advise a team to hire someone??? That makes zero sense.

I can always count on a WTF moment when you post a gif.

Actually a highlight of my day.

I lead a rather boring life.

I'm going to guess they did that to try and jump start ROR/Okposo and to spread out the guys that have actually had some success so far this year.

Rhino as 3rd C has been a failure. But I wouldn't think he has been relegated to 3rd line RW. Would have thought he would be given a chance to play RW with ECHL. Our 3rd line last year with Larsson, Gionta and Foligno was actually pretty good.

I'm guessing they aren't ready to bump Pommer down to the third line yet.

I agree. Jack needs to be the man on his line. Send Girgs after the puck and have pommer finish. It could do a lot to jump start some offense.

I'm not sure that he should be either. He hasn't looked bad. And clearly has chemistry with Eichel as well.

I agree.

Girgensons, Eichel, Pommer and Kane have been the guys I've noticed the most upfront (for doing good things that is).

The ROR line needs to get going for sure. They've been pretty bad. I think the 4th line (in game 1 anyway) has been better.

It's weird, but Nolan is an upgrade over Moulson.

I know what Moulson can provide, if used correctly, but overall I think Nolan is going to give the team more on a consistent basis.

1)now we're in your territory, you're seeing what you want to see. I said they went out of their way to advise them which is in fact true because its not as if the league is obligated to advise them on hiring and firing.

2) same issue. I did not say they were already on the hot seat. its literally been three games. I said "Im not sure how much time hes really got before he feels serious heat " and i mean that to be literal regarding when he feels pressure from ownership or fans. I dont know how many years/months or bad finishes he can afford because of the timing of his hiring relative to our rebuild timeline. Which made me curious as to how much time he'll give to let things and certain players pan out because I dont know how much time hes been given.

3) This is fair, although you can see why given how the phrase "jesus christ" has been used here before and towards me that i would assume this.

Why does it make zero sense? Its a team in their league. They dont have to, but its not ridiculous if they chose to.

Robin Lehner was hit in the mask/face & left practice early to get some stitches. Coach Housley says he should be fine.

Kane and Eichel together is working (for the most part)...."Break um up!"

ROR and Ok havn't done poop with their supposed connection...."Keep um together!"

Looks like that is a wrap on the Rhino at center experiment

No Moulson is good, but Beaulieu would benefit from being on the bench for a game

But why...I keep hearing about this mythical connection between Okposo and O'Reilly.....but I have yet to see it for more than a game or two at a time.
