That Devils team is looking decent early on. Hischier is looking great for them and so is adding Johansson.
Still gotta consider Leafs favorites on this one.
Unfortunately. - Scabeh
Feels like a trap game.
There is no question that at some point, this Leafs team will get a wake up call.

TRAP GAME = good team flying high looking past a completely irrelevant opponent as their next opponent is far more interesting and exciting. - Bigzby

It would appear so until further notice.

Just poo a little bit so it gets between your ass cheeks but not all the way to your pants. That'll probably keep you up.
Or have a coffee - TheMussel
(frank) that is a good strategy!
Except, if you do fall asleep, you will also poop yourself, which an order of magnitude worse.

The young man has off-ice issues.
Sadly, summer time doesn't seem to have given him the time to fix them.
He could still bounce back, but he needs to get his priorities straight. |

If Aaltonen is that guy - then you've answered your own dilemma. Don't need Bozak, and sign JVR to a team friendly contract just like uncle Lou did with Brown.
I see a couple of issues with the new face off rule. (1) It takes aggressiveness out of the draw. (2) The team that gets thrown out / warned has little chance of winning the draw because a less competent player takes the draw and also fear of getting a penalty. - winsix
That happen in OT in the Chicago games were a Chicago Dman had to take the draw in his own end. |

I for one would like to suggest that Bablord start teaching Connor Brown on how to take faceoffs.... in the event Bozak does leave at the end of the year.. .Brown slips into his spot. If Bozak stays, Brown can spell anyone of the centers periodically and gives them a better option during the PK.
gotta reward that kid with as much ice as he can take. |

I'm terrified I will fall asleep.

With all the pk he's been getting I think he's played more than Matthews.
Also that's not the worst thing I've heard with brown replacing bozak. They are the weakest defensively and brown would help that. Plus marner is like a playmaking center without being a center. |

Nico scores first nhl goal tonight.
Book it! - Scabeh
Habs should be hoping the Leafs win tonight... if they lose Babcock will be merciless in the time leading up to the Habs game.
You guys should be spending all your time on selecting the best officials for Saturday night. |
