I definitely think they had an internal depth chart I mean they said hagg was nhl ready end of last year and didn't say that about anyone else which means we should of expected a spot for him. I think Myers will probably spend 2 years down in the ahl. - Tfaehner
That is true about Hagg. What also is interesting... Scouts and even Bob Mckenzie deemed Myers NHL ready for this season. He was on a bunch of the best prospects not in the NHL lists too. I def think he needed some time down there for this year, but I'm curious how long it lasts and if he does indeed get around 2 years, |

Confusion happens but it's unfair to call someone delusional if you aren't sure if this person is telling the truth or not.

While this may be reading the tea leaves, I am curious how Hexy views the young dmen for this year, nexts, and the following... Someone brought up oh what do we do next year when Morin is ready and Myers could be knocking on the door and trading Amac and Gudas have both been mentioned. Hexy has some serious evaluating to do with all of these young dmen playing for next year: Ghost, Provy, Morin, Hagg, Sanheim, Myers, 7th. I mean if all of these dmen pan out to be NHL dmen, they will all be playing with one another for the however many seasons. So if Hexy and/or Hak aren't comfortable with so many young guys this year, it makes me wonder if they are beginning this evaluation early now. A lot of us said Morin was a lock, yet Sanheim won that last spot to have. If Sanheim establishes himself between this year and next as a PP1 threat, maybe Ghost becomes expendable; especially if Myers also pans out offensively. Im not sure if Myers and Morin are a pair together down in the AHL,but if they are i wonder if they want to see that combo for next year while testing the current NHL pairings. I know this is looking way ahead but just a thought that struck me. - arichardson22
I wouldn't count on Ghost becoming expendable. He's one of the most dynamic PP quarterbacks in the league.
I think if all goes as planned, AMac and/or Gudas will be the ones replaced. How soon that happens remains to be seen but as the young defensemen develop in the NHL, the reluctance to introduce more youth will only decrease. They need proven commodities in the line up before introducing more uncertainty.

His injuries have really hurt in terms of nhl readiness. He just hasn't played a lot of hockey. Games in the ahl will get him there. I think he might have the highest upside outside of provorov but a lot like Morin was at first I think he's raw. Friedman is my sleeper who could be ready sooner than expected. |

I can't even imagine how long that took you to find that page on that summer day 1 year ago.
And guess what? I stand by everything. Literally everything. Just yesterday I told you that I think Gudas is more tilted offensively than defensively at ES, despite perception as a physical player, and can have plenty of lapses in his own end. He's a 2-way play-driving d-man at ES, not a defensive d-man. So you had to search from 15 months ago to prove what I just said yesterday? YOU GOT ME, DUDE, WHOA. Good grief you are sad |

We debated all last year, it didn't take long at all.
I wonder how your lawyers would feel defending a losing cause.

its tough. my alternatives are Pryor who has majorly disappointed and Diggs who is dealing with groin and facing GB - arichardson22
You better have gone heavy on RB's TE's and QB's
So looking at Panthers D, Ertz might have a tougher time. They have the best LB group in the league. So MAYBE the stay to the outside.. I guess you go with AJeff and hope that he just hauls in a touchdown. |
