He’s looked good (on the wing),
but I doubt that line scores much
No one is known for their passing &/or playmaking skills

I’d like to see:
_____-Eichel-Pominville
_____-O’Reilly-Okposo
Kane-Reinhart-_____

Rotate those open slots till u find chemistry & production
Even if that means bringing up Baptiste, Bailey, Nylander, or whoever
Or maybe even have Okposo & Kane swap lines

Not ready to give up on Sam at center, even though he’s off to a rough start
Wanna see someone with him who can score

I believe he’s actually been pretty solid on breakaways
Which makes it even more weird that he struggles so much in shootouts

Correct ne if I'm wrong. I didn't get a chance to watch the whole game, but it didn't seem there was any urgency/hunger to their game. Especially the last few minutes. Are they not buying into Housley's system?

My takeaways on the game:

- Jack can pass, Pommer can finish
- Girgs hustled his a@s off on both the games. Was noticeable in a good way.
- Kane played well as did Larsson
- 4th line played well with their limited ice time. Nolan was a pleasant surprise
- Key guys like ROR/Okposo/Reinhart - almost invisible
- Pouliot - is he still on the team?
- Scandella = good, solid d-man. Him and Risto played well together
- other d were fine for the most part
- Lehner was fine, not great. Was scambly at times

One goal that easily could have been a tie or Sabres win. Close game. End result, much better than there last two games but still not good enough
