Bylsma, who I did not like and was happy to see let go, is being vindicated by these losers.
GMTM might have been the worse thing that ever happened to this franchise. He squandered futures and has set us back years.

Through 4 games this team has 9 goals from three players.
2 SH Goals
2 PP Goals
5 goals 5V5
Where are the other 15 guys not named Kane/Pominville/Eichel?
ROR needs to get his head out of his ass, fast |

I said a few months ago that I’ve never seen ROR in an uptempo system. He’s not a north/south center. With our PP struggling he’s been awful.
This is beyond frustrating now |

To be fair Girgs, although not getting a lot of points, has played very well. But yes, ROR, Okposo, Rhino.....they've been invisible. |

The defense is a freaking disaster. ROR, okposo, McCabe (Could someone please let them know the season started)
you can see that some of those guys are thinking way to much instead of just playing. I still don't understand these line combo's, for the love of god make it stop.
The one positive is I think Gorges had a good game and Beaulieu....
Has Jack had an end to end rush yet this year? Why isn't he carrying the puck more?

For all the poop people give Lehner he (frank)in hates to lose....and I like that. I want to know who the players are in that locker room that don't share the anger that Jack and Lehner expressed. Hell, even Mr. low-key Pommer sounded frustrated. |

He should have had support from the defender in front of the net on that second goal. Risto kicking the puck around and not playing the body of the shooter on the third goal was garbage as well. Risto is a concern for me, he always seems out of position.
Lehner looked decent to me. If he was on a team that was better at the defense no one would be worried about him.

These goals that are coming off of plays from behind the net need to be fixed. Lehner's head doesn't spin all the way around, or at least last time I checked humans didn't have that ability.
On the second goal he followed the guy as he moved behind the net from one side to the other, and then nobody did anything to go in and try and disrupt the SJ player or prevent the second player from coming in to accept that pass.
If Lehner doesn't follow the guy, he leaves that side of the net open for a wrap around. So no matter what he did, he was screwed because the rest of the team was just standing around letting SJ do what they wanted. |

Eh, I don't know about that, yes the defense has been, well bad, but you need your goalie to bail you out from time to time.
Lehner, like many of the team has been average to start this year |

This is a conspiracy theory only a hopeful homer could come up with but:
What if orielley found out he's a piece in a move to get JT if he decides not to sign. Could explain why it looks like he's pouting up and down the ice. |

I do think you are closer to the truth than not.
Bott's comments about taking a year to evaluate this team properly points to another frustrating season...but enables Housley time enough to instill his system in the players minds so they move from thinking to reacting...which should help.
And with players like Molson, Gorges, and a few others to be gone for next season (Buyout/Retire) ... and hopefully lose some deadweight alongside the way as well...that opens up Cap space and rost |

Girgs seemed to fit in well with Pommer and Eichel last night.
Too bad the rest of the team hasn't figured out the season has started yet. |

not a dig on him, but perhaps he is better suited for playing 22 minutes a night |

I had a hunch he would
in this crappy start to a season, he is the bounce back sabre IMO and seems to have adjusted to keep a long term spot here |

We are done. We way overpaid for Kyle the train wreck okposo. Ryan oreilly is not even close to a 7 million dollar player. Add moulson, gorges, lehner, larsson, joseffson and there is a lot of bad talent |

with his 2 points last night, Gus is now tied for 4th on the team with 2
in other terms, as much as
ror, griffith, pouliot, moulson, okposo, nolan, larsson and reinhart combined |
