2nd goal was a great behind the back pass where Lehner HAS to move to the other side or he gets beat on a wrap around. Every single goalie will be making that slide to the post, it is up to his defensemen to make sure there isn't a guy left wide open in front, they did not.

Eh, yes and no

He wasn't good but neither was the rest of the team outside of Kane.

The Sabres didn't do themselves any favors this pre-season, they didn't play together enough under the new system. There's still A-LOT of kinks to work out and Housley needs to tweak his system a bit and realize he doesn't have Nashville's blue line anymore.

I agree with 1 and 2; I think you are giving Reinhart too much credit with #3 and Lehner with this and last years D is a bit better than average.

I think Jack needs to compete more; he seems to turn it up on the PP but needs to maintain it 5v5.
