The best way to ignore him is to quit this site or get kicked off permanently. We will see which one I accomplish first.

Maybe time for me to post something about Julie and college hockey.

Believe me a new blog from Carol will not bail out this group.

Its a terrible version of Groundhog Day where a new blog starts with 3-4 pages of Canuck talk and turns back into a gongshow by page 10

As a warning to all: I recommend any future comments that are not hockey related are heavily reconsidered

The only problem is that hockey discussions are being diluted out by certain posters constant back and forth bantering. Its near impossible to start and maintain anything canucks related at this point.

You could not be any more correct. I am bolding it so that it is highlighted for all to see read

Maybe 20 or 30 of us should just leave permanently.

are my hands clean in reference to arguing or debating other posters? Absolutely not, that is the point of a hockey blog, is to come in with a difference of opinion or a general thought, and have other people chime in with a counter thought or add to an existing one, and hopefully do so in a respectful manner.

My Conscience, imo, is clean because not one Canucks posters, maybe apart from Stringer who I don't consider a regular, hates me or has a distaste for me or my posting due to the aftermath of a discussion.

I am simply pointing out that you are quick to agree with my posting about others not being able to acknowledge a difference of opinion, but you in fact are one who fails to acknowledge someone elses difference of opinion, and is certainly one of many contributors to the state in which the Canucks hockey blog is in now.

- Codes1087

I didn't single you out nor exempt myself. Just agreed with the message.

Maybe you can accept that I respect discourse on differing hockey viewpoints and not hung up into personalizing issues or personas. I'm not patting myself on the back or distinguishing my aplomb either.

Why the referrences to the state of Canuck talk was not directed at you but the general issues wrapped up in following the Canucks through its history.

Yeah I went and looked at Biech's twitter. Thanks though. So I guess that's EP shooting on the first goal.

I liked in the second goal how the puck was on and off his stick instantly. Head up and moving the puck quickly. Sure love to see that on Van's PP OR was that the first. I've mixed myself up.

I'm as guilty as the next of getting angry at some of the silly things people post... and post silly things in return, but i am man enough to admit it and dont always try and play the victim card.

Not trying to single you out as you're on better behaviour at times but you do tend to play the innocent victim card far too many times and never really seem to get it when you're offensive to others.

Keep reading maybe you get I am supporting the message not obsolving myself but thanks for not trying to single out the offensiveness of my posting.

So Luongo... good point. Let's hope he doesn't retire before next lock out. Maybe Canucks find an exemption to the penalty.

The forward group on the PP isn't as crucial imo as the 1 forward and 1 defenseman. If Pettersson can fill that forward on the point on the Canucks PP at some point, that would be fantastic. At this point, Tanev deserves the 2nd PP defenseman spot as his shots are the only ones making it to the net.

I would like too see anything different on the PP.

On another note, disappointed too hear Jake only played 7 minutes last night. Either play him or send him down. Personally I would like to see him on PK. His speed would be a bonus on that unit and I feel confident he would be a scoring threat with several chances of breakaways

More just players playing out of position. Pretty sure Gagner was in the high slot last season most of the time, not on the half way.

Always see the same band with one different person. I want to see a real different PP line up.

Yes me too!

I understand that the other team goes down to 3 lines and that's what teams do in the 3rd when going for the win.

JV is the youth and energy you want in the 3rd though. If he isn't going to get 10-12 minutes a night. I would rather him sent down. Just one of those feelings that even though TG says things that when the time comes and the game is on the line. He's going to act exactly the same as WD and most other coaches. Sit the kids.

This team needs a coach that is going to allow players to make mistakes. Get minutes. The Sedin's are 38, they can't play 16-18 minutes a night. Take 3 minutes away from them and give them to JV and others.

That would elevate JV's role for sure. Who do you see him replacing on PK...?

I think the Sedins used to be able to run a successful powerplay when they had the legs to cycle properly. It helps that Ehrhoff was a decent PP defenseman, but the Sedins used to be really be able to control the play, not so much anymore.

I know I am not going to get my way, but I would love to see youth injected into both PP's, just so we aren't so predictable and maybe can spark something.

Granlund - Bo - Baertschi
Boeser - MDZ

LE - Sutter - Virtanen
Vanek - Stecher

I know people aren't going to think I am respecting the Sedin's by taking them off the PP, but its been too stale for too long now.

Last season, Bo started on the 4th line, but he didn't stay there all season.

I'm waiting for the lineup to die down at the bridge before I lose it and go off.
