The forward group on the PP isn't as crucial imo as the 1 forward and 1 defenseman. If Pettersson can fill that forward on the point on the Canucks PP at some point, that would be fantastic. At this point, Tanev deserves the 2nd PP defenseman spot as his shots are the only ones making it to the net.

Hard to make out if it's Tanev improving or players like Hutton and Stecher struggling. MDZ looked okay with BB. Maybe it's the set up...?

Maybe you can accept that I respect discourse on differing hockey viewpoints and not hung up into personalizing issues or personas. I'm not patting myself on the back or distinguishing my aplomb either.

Why the referrences to the state of Canuck talk was not directed at you but the general issues wrapped up in following the Canucks through its history.

I think the Sedins used to be able to run a successful powerplay when they had the legs to cycle properly. It helps that Ehrhoff was a decent PP defenseman, but the Sedins used to be really be able to control the play, not so much anymore.

I know I am not going to get my way, but I would love to see youth injected into both PP's, just so we aren't so predictable and maybe can spark something.

Gagner was awesome on the PP last season. I think he should be played on the first PP away from the Sedin's.

Why is everyone rattled this morning? Wasn't last night a great result? I only watched the second half of the game but I thought they player pretty well. Isn't this what everyone wants? A relatively entertaining game with decent effort but a loss to help the tank? One thing is for sure, if Edler is out for awhile, the tank starts early this year.

Game was boring as (frank). They had like 3 legit scoring chances until the last 3-4 mins.

Its a terrible version of Groundhog Day where a new blog starts with 3-4 pages of Canuck talk and turns back into a gongshow by page 10

Not sure of Edler injury status, but if a call up is required, do they call up a defenseman (Holm McEneny Chatfield) or do they call up a forwatd (Goldobin Chaput Megna)?

TG/NB put Gagner with Bo's unit last night playing in Burmi's spot. BB took spot on Sedin PP and looked effective.

Maybe 20 or 30 of us should just leave permanently.
