I'm still going to hit up one game with the boys. Night away from the wives and kids. Go on a bit of a runaway in the city. Good beer, good food, mediocre hockey. Whats not to like. I will get the food and beer not at the arena of course. - thundachunk
That's about a fun roadtrip, Canucks are just a side note. We do that a couple times a year and it's fun. |

BFD. Even if this was true. You don't think there are other kids in the NHL that do/have/did the same thing at that age? - VanHockeyGuy
What? It’s a BFD. If he doesn’t cut it out he will ruin his career. |

I wonder what other factors are involved though -- weather, lifestyle, cost, etc.
I'm sure if they really cut prices at the canucks games more people would show up. - NewYorkNuck
When I was in Miami a while back tickets in the lower bowl at BB&T were as low as they are for Cougars games. |

If I lived in Van i'd definitely split season with my cousins. I would go see the games as much as I could, even right now. |

One shot - VANTEL
They were outmuscled by Calgary's 4th line so badly yesterday. |

Yes. The first week which is actually two weeks is a crapshoot. |

these fans suck, the chemistry isn't there yet is right, I didn't think they played a poor game 5 on 5, had lots of chances, 3 went in off canuck players. - Bettmanhatesus
The fans suck? The team has been horrible since playoffs 2012 . Five years later the fans are still here and still waiting for hope.
Team management has stunk .
The kids may have had more ice time last night but who got the quality starts.
The Canucks have 20 mil invested in the three highest paid players who after 4 games have combined for 1 goal and 4 assists . That is one more point than Jarred McCann combined. |

It's still fun to go to games but the novelty wears off after awhile. It's really expensive. |

It's the same as going to the Jet's games. Novelty wore off but I still go. Not even a team I like. It is expensive. I don't mind. Now that the wife has a job. I really don't mind. |

PP time killed Van. The PP last night gave Cgy a lot of life instead of killing them off. |

I did. I was just throwing in my 2 cents seeing as how they are in a Canadian market. - thundachunk
I think Toronto and Edmonton are unique markets, the Oilers fans stayed faithful but did tire of the situation, they're the only show in town though.
Toronto is an original six team with a long history and a huge population, Vancouver is more like an American city. |
