He has also made some nice outlet passes for scoring chances and has hit 3 posts this year with his shot. Baby steps

The Sedins and Vanek will probably lead the team in scoring, but they'll still finish near the bottom and be boring to watch.

I'd only have him on the 2nd pairing on a good team if he was paired with someone who can carry him a bit. Otherwise he'd anchor the 3rd pairing.

Anyone who struggles to receive passes, handle the puck, and beat the forecheck is always going to have capped value to a team. It's the same as having an offensive dman who can't defend. That player only holds so much value to a team because of glaring weaknesses.

McCann is largely unknown, I agree, however, I think he's gonna have a long successful career in the NHL.

Gudbrandson stunk last year. It is early but I like what I see this year.
