I don't see the big deal with Eriksson myself, but i know some need a whipping boy.
Baertschi sucks and we've all known that for awhile, and somehow he get's put down as a 1st line winger on many rosters.

I like Gudbranson and would re-sign him myself.

I don't think anyone here thinks Baertschi is a 1st line forward. However, outside of Granlund we don't have anyone better for the job.

They probably are doing that as you see all the prospect talent playing in other leagues ripening for that shot.

But Goldy is a player who's ready to benefit much like BB and JV. Team losing won't undermine the development confidence that a ready player wants to prove individually. That being they can play at NHL level and produce.

Don't worry about old man player style they can be kept to their own lines. Kid lines with Bo, BB. Goldy, JV Granlund can play off each other. TG's system does push the pace and with their speed they should evolve.

i honestly dont want jb fired. i think his plan is coming along. him and TL are actually weathering the storm (barely) which i think is essential for a GM in this market.

unless someone comes in with a complete teardown mandate (will FA even entertain that?) then they're just going to shake things up for the sake of it and likely put us back even further.

yeah he's made mistakes, but i don't think they've been nuclear. could have done way worse poop like trading bo or tanev.
