Look at their entire core, they basically just matured. Weresnki and Seth Jones are studs on defense and they have multiple scoring lines. Plus Torts has done a great job there.

Could still use a legit #1 C though.

Outside of that Clarkson trade where they let the Leafs off the hook easily, they've done a good job.
