"Police reported that the driver of the truck left the scene of the accident and that the vehicle and O’Reilly were found a short distance from each other just minutes after the accident."

I wonder how much her silence cost ROR

I am guessing 20 grand

An employee of the Lucan Tim Hortons confirmed to AM980 that there had been a motor vehicle incident, but was unaware of the driver’s identity.
After the collision, police say a suspect drove the vehicle southbound on Saintsbury Line, before abandoning it and travelling by foot with another, unnamed, male occupant.

It is a team effort to pick a florescent green polo or a flamboyant pink polo

Can't believe I stayed up for that game.

Risto and Beaulieu are getting caught out of position too much
Jack had some speed on the back check for the first period but then looked tired. He looked exhausted in the OT. He has bursts of speed but then tries to slow things down and rely on his stickhandling rather than using his speed to wear down the opposition.
Kane is a standout right now. Take away the penalties and we couldn't ask for more.

Can we not send Moulson to Rochester and give Baptiste or Fasching a chance. Guys desperate to make the team would at least put up a better effort.

Bang on. Although, our hands are pretty tied up contractually.

How long until Antipin goes back to Russia?

Did anyone out there predict it would be this bad? As much as I was a Housley fan as a player, you have to think that GMJB should have brought in a coach (Gallant) that's system could fit our players. Instead, now we need new players to fit our coaches system.

I am happy to see Housley soften his stance on having someone in front on the PP. Now if we can learn how to play a 2 on 1, we might win a game or two.

My gosh people patience. It seems our technology has made us like a ferret on crack wanting results right now.

Sorry, but you can't solve a bad hockey team's problems in 280 characters or less.

It's not time to pull the plug on Housley or start questioning the GM's decisions already. There is a reason this team picked 8th, fired both their coach and GM. They were terrible.

You know, there is a possibility that neither of these guys will work out, because winning consistently is hard.

But can we please give them until November before we're calling to fire them?

I'm all for honest criticism but dang, some of what I'm reading here is crazy.

They have played 7 games...

RELAX

It is still early, they are starting to come out of their shell a bit (3 goals in 10 mins)

There is a big learning curve still for Housley and company

I said this the other day. Housley has as much to learn as the players do. The guy, while undoubtedly capable, just hasn't had that much experience as a pro coach.

He is seeing what is working and what isn't, what will make or break him as a coach will be how he does his adjustments

Looks to me as if #23 is a if not THE problem. You're not Jack, clown. Go out there and play your best and quit pouting. Any other center not wearing #15 will be seeing inferior guys checking them. Jack is going to have a long year unless somebody steps up to help. And for those who have a problem with Jack's faceoff %, he's doing better than Malkin. I never hear how Malkin has to step up his game.

My first extended viewing of the year, comments:

Okposo is invisible and that giveaway on goal #4 was stupid an killer

Reinhart is invisible except on the PP. In saying that, wish more players got in front of the net like him.

Moulsen is invisible, even on the PP

OT is all about speed and possession. Jack has speed but never wins a draw in OT - he needs to win draws.

POMS is too slow to be used in OT, how about using Bailey??

Carrier was the best player on the ice last night, too bad he has 0 scoring touch

I didn't notice Gorges at all, which is a good thing

Why in the world is Tennison getting series PP minutes? He does have good speed, but his shot sucks. Antipin needs to be in the lineup.

McCabe looks tentative to me.

Kane is everything we want all of our forwards to be. Bailey is Kane without quite the aggression and without the scoring touch,

Johnson has no chance in the first three goals, but, needed to make a big glove save on gail #4 and 5.

The 2nd period was absolutely horrible to watch.

The NHL loves calling stupid faceoff infraction call and ticky tack interference and slahing calls. Then Kane is bursting to the net and Jack is about to hit him with a pass and he's blatantly tripped, no call. Unbelievable.

These guys need to care more, simple as that

I couldn't care less about Eichel's faceoff percentage...most centers are struggling trying to adjust to the new enforcement of the rule.

I would just like to see Jack shoot the damn puck more.

Why is this guy brought up as if it were some failure for the Sabres. It's not like the team didn't see the talent and didn't ask him to come on board. Jesus Christ, the way people talk on this board about him it's as though we traded him away for nothing when we never had his rights.
