Their draft order is just the current league standings, so it isn't exactly a prediction. - JetpackJesus
Not entirely, they have the 4-2 Packers at 23 and the 4-2 Vikings at 30, the 3-3 Titans at 26 and the 3-3 Ravens at 11 and 3-2 Broncos at 17. So it seems there's some prediction. It doesn't totally follow the standings on ESPN.com or NFL.com. |

I think they are going by playoff standings. The Titans are winning their division and would have a playoff spot if the season were to end today. The Ravens and Broncos would not. There's still something strange there because the Titans have the worst record of division winners.

Yeah, it's a bit weird, it's not by winning percentage, it's not by wins, it's not by divisions.
It's close, but a bit off. |

If you had all the division winners as the last 8 spots, Tennessee would be #25, not 26. It's not that far off. |

No, it's not. It was just a shock to see the Bills there and other teams with better records behind them. |

How many goals do you have ?
How many completed - cabin
This is such a poor rhetoric, come on now. A bunch of if's and really, I can say with absolute certainty that my wrist shot alone could have gotten me in the NHL. I'm sure there's plenty of us on here who've played hockey and have our own skills and strengths; And had our parents been able to afford to invest in what is the literal most expensive sport on the planet, who knows what kind of creativity could have happened to the league if they didn't push brutish thugs through a complicated and corrupt system that revolves around a lot of money, a lot of jobs, a lot of industry and a lot of investment in the "rare" superstar and what amounts to a league full of brain-dead idiots who are told to run these guys over and end up playing professional hockey because their affluent parents could afford to invest in a mule that gets paid millions of dollars to suck at his job.

Golf - Wetbandit1
Excluding extreme, obscure or racing... keeping it mostly to team sports but still, I think Hockey is more expensive over a career to maintain than Golf.
A set of clubs is expensive but come on.
Helmet, shoulder and chest pads, elbow pads, gloves, jock-strap, cup, girdle, shin and knee pads, skates, stick for a legit hockey player, not a joe schmo buying the cheapest stuff at Richard's Sporting Goods, but an amatuer, semi-professional or professional hockey player, you're looking at close to 10k, if not more. Goalies probably double that.
About 15-20 sticks per season at 300-400 a pop doesn't run cheap, either.
Factor in upkeep, facility fees, team fees and travel x amount of games played, I don't even think it's close. And Der Kaiser is right with his post, actually. |
