What's with the poopty offers in the hockey pool?
Chara for Kucherov?
I think he was a steal at 13. Can't believe he fell to me. |

You picked 10th, he was my number one target, I had it all planned out and you ruined it. (frank). Then I got flustered and drafted poopty after that. All because I beat you to win the title last year? You wiener |

Boeser kinda reminds me of Rod Brind'Amour when I played against him in that Brindy was never the fastest guy out there, he was just good at thinking the game, positionally sound with his awareness of where the puck will or should go.
Boeser has those same abilities, it would seem. Good thing Greener stratched him of for the first two games or they might have won both of them - LeftCoaster

RIP Gord Downie.
I didn't grow up a big fan of the Hip, but they were always there.
I love a handful of their songs and respect the hell out of Gord as a poet and for his way with words, his humbleness and his work outside of music.
I couldn't care less if they broke outside of Canada or not. They are legends.
Fireworks exploding in the distance
Temporary towers soar
Fireworks emulating heaven
Til there are no stars anymore

I think Bo needs AV to come back and tell him to try using his wingers |

Or Mikael Samuelsson who called out Kesler for doing the same.
And also told Team Sweden management to go (frank) themselves

... TG gave him the talk. He actually was overpassing last game and it didn't click. There wasn't any chemistry there with Vanek and Gagner.
So who else on Canucks should be given a look since getting Bo going is more important then the Sedins. |

So what's the vibe with JB these days (hours?)??
Are people pissed about the signings still?
I think MDZ has played great so far, and Pouliot has been decent too.
Vanek has impressed and Gagner has been invisible.
Burmy looks like good value when given a top 6 role and will be invaluable if he can be the straw that stirs Brock's drink.
What more could you want from a cheap back up goalie?
So far, 5 games in, i'd say i'm giving JB a on 5/6 moves in the offseason.
edit: Just realized that JB brought in a goalie, 2 D, 2 wingers and a C in the offseason. |

Watching a bit of the Leafs/Redwings game.
Say what you want, but they can put the puck in the net.
I know we've resented the coverage of that team in the past, when they were horrible, but seems it might be warranted this year. |

Just noticed Kane is having a really good year. What a coincidence it is in his contract year.
Because his best season of his career was 6 years ago which was also his contract year.
- classic321
eh. i think its more to do with him dealing with so many injuries (and the trade) last few years and not being able to get in a rhythm |

If anyone wants a good laugh head over to HF boards and visit Nucker's buddies. The top thread is "Fire Green." Such gems as "Sitting Boeser is an immediate fireable offense" and "Green is low-end AHL coach" and this beauty from WTG " If you knew him you wouldn't defend Travis Green.Guys not a good coach, his moves make no sense, and firing him should have been done years ago.'
5 games is about right. We have the stupidest fanbase in the league - CanuckDon
