It sounds corny, but it's not easy killing a bird either (but yes, much easier than a big-ass animal). Making a clean, fast kill is something I take pretty seriously. Not shooting at birds I can't retrieve is another.

Never enjoyed deer hunting for the same reason you stated, boredom. Always like small game because you're moving. Rabbit and pheasant was the best. Now I have a deal with a friend. He spends all day sitting in a tree waiting for bambi to walk by, and I help him process. Do like trout fishing though. Gave up on catch and release bass because it seems cruel, now I eat what I catch.

I may have a bit of a problem, but that doesn't sound unfortunate at all.

Never really got into fishing. I'm doing a striper tournament next weekend that is run every fall by a friend's father's business. Really just an excuse to get up at the crack of dawn and drink beer on a boat all day one last time.

I do want to get into deer hunting, I don't mind the boredom factor. Truthfully, it would be worth it to pop a buck that would give me around 80lbs of free meat. That's a lot of free dinners. I love venison.

Couple times I went I got I think 117 middle row. I liked it cause it was at center ice.

Don't know if that changed after the reno.

I like center ice. I’ll take center ice in the nose bleeds over corner/behind the net seats in the 100 section unless the seats are first 2 or 3 rows.

I have a trout stream that feeds a reservoir right by my house, so I go for trout and perch. Went on party boats a few times for blues when I was a teen, but havent been since.
It is nice to sit in the woods for a few hours and absorb the surroundings, but 3 days of that gets old. I always liked the drive because you're moving. Like going for small game because rabbit is incredible. Love venison, so my butchering deal is great.
