I got a flannel lined hooded jacket for winter from woolrich.

Absolutely love it for doing work. Water proof too!

I have a trout stream that feeds a reservoir right by my house, so I go for trout and perch. Went on party boats a few times for blues when I was a teen, but havent been since.
It is nice to sit in the woods for a few hours and absorb the surroundings, but 3 days of that gets old. I always liked the drive because you're moving. Like going for small game because rabbit is incredible. Love venison, so my butchering deal is great.

Yeah, I'm sure your buddy throws some meat your way for helping dress out all his deer, which is awesome. I have an older guy I hunt with that's a chef in the summer and the rest of the year travels around hunting, guiding, and cooking private wild game dinners at people's houses/for events/etc... We had him come to my parent's place and do a private dinner for my 30th last year, it was awesome. You're so full that you can't move by the end.

Anyone who goes hunting and sits in a tree is (frank)ing useless . I hunt deer , elk and moose have for 50 odd years and have yet to sit in a tree .
