Vancouver vs Buffalo games are always fun for my family as my wife is from Vancouver. Lots of drinking and smack talking about which team sucks more. I was wanting to see Fedun play as he has always played well when called upon in the past. Hopefully after 4 games as a scratch Antipin can use his speed to close in on opponents more quickly. We shall see.
One of my favorite recent memories of Canucks vs Sabres.
But I wasn't able to watch the first 5 games basically with work and being out of town twice.
I get to watch and they are 1-4-1. Still bad.... I mean, what am looking forward to at this point?
We went through this so we could stop making heroic runs to 8th place or the wild card. That looks like the best case scenario 5 years later. - sbroads24
they needed to wait 1 more year, then make the moves
if they got laine, tkachuk or juolevi
and had lots of cap space
the future would have been much brighter and prospect pool deep
It's the Kane effect. Bailey should be with Jack and Kane should be with ROR - jcragcrumple
This is a serious question why do we want to change the ONE line where all three players are in the top 20 in NHL scoring when you have gotten hardly anyone else contributing? As much as people want to say Eichel and Kane don't play well together, they do, and the point totals for them support it.
the goal the other night with 9 secs, Eichel flipped the puck into the air towards Kane who was standing all alone, does ROR make that play? I don't think so.

you do it to try and get the guys that aren't producing to be with someone who is. It's also kind of the "spread the wealth" mentality.

but when they produce, you don't dump them back on the 4th line the next game, girgens

I get that but sometimes you don't "fix" what's not broke. tweak the other guys

I agree.
First it is “finding chemistry”
When they find it, they break it up
They had two lines with chemistry when Reinhart went on ROR’s wing.
At that point you top 6 was playing relatively well
Puoloit - Girgensons - Bailey could be ok ( I know Pouloit sucks) if he wants to see if there is chemistry there

True but when you have these two statements:
Eichel and Kane play well together
And
Eichel needs to shoot more
Only one of those can be true at any given time. Putting Eichel with Kane means jack will get fewer shots and goals. As long as you're fine with him piling up assists, that's fine

Also on the Schopp point: season ticket holders bear some responsibility for making the atmosphere terrible. I see so many people not standing for goals or watching the play passively like they're sitting on a bench park watching ducks swim in a pond. And then they sell their tickets to out of towners for what should be the best games. If you buy seasons and sell to Leafs fans in order to recoup money, either the tickets are too expensive in the first place, or you're a casual fan who doesn't care about the team. The 100 level is wasteland of bored "fans" who act like it's a responsibility to come to the game, but they don't really want to be there. Ugh, it's an entitled attitude and this is coming from a millenial - jcragcrumple
I’m sick of people blaming the “fans” how about you play better and have better music , host then the building maybe rock a little
