if they wanted to shake up the team

I think it comes down to skunk, risto or ror

any other possible trade, really doesn't shake things up

If u were expecting them to be Toews & Keith, then that was your mistake
- jdfitz77

I expected Okposo to have more than 1 assist in 7 games and be invisible most nights.

No one is asking for him to be the best. Just not be invisible.

You are the biggest fanboy I have ever come across. You refuse to accept any kind of problem exists with this team and the players on it.
- BeadyEyedDouche

It's a team sport. With all the new players we have how can we be worse than the others team is crazy? Teams needs time together. We picked all NHL eligable players just like every other team. Do we have that bad of luck that we picked all the worse in the league ???? I don't think so. We have a young team (as in a together team) that will get better. Move out weaker parts for better ones keeping the core (we don;t have that yet yet )together.

And you need to give it a rest and lay off. You don't like my posts, don't (frank)ing read or respond to them. That's what I've done with your 5 year old reading level grammar for years now.

That level of calm rationality has not place on this board.

WOW that was a great save.

Can anyone rewind that with the overhead view? I think I saw something go in the net down by his feet.

I don't expect them to get worked by a Bo Horvat led team though

I don't think grit is the answer, I think you need talent that tries.
- gcomella34

The same guys who provide grit provide character......this team could use some character.....they seem nutless (with the exception of Kane)

If I told you Kane and Pommer would be in the top 20 for scoring in the NHL after 8 games, as well as Jack

What would expect the record to be?

5-2-1?

Ok, so what is the problem?
- ImThatGuy

I’ve written it multiple times this thread

1) Secondary scoring
O’Reilly is scoring now, & is a good player
Sam needs legit talent on his wings, not Pouliot & Griffith. Anyone expecting that 3rd line to score is gonna be disappointed

2) Defense
Can a heathy Bogosian improve under Housley? Not counting on it, but I’d like to see
Regardless though, we need better defensemen
Risto is a good player, he just isn’t a #1
Sending him out & bringing in Falk still doesn’t make Beaulieu, Tennyson or Antipin any better though

3) Goaltending
It’s hasnt been good, period

With "grit" comes penalties. I'll take calm puck possession by guys that can be physical, like Kane.

When someone says grit I think Adam Mair, Kaleta, etc.....

That's not what's needed.

Perhaps my perception is wrong.

So scoring, defense and goaltending.

Seems like the other parts of the game we own

He's not even in pace for 10 right now.

He is a problem at the moment.

- ImThatGuy

Like I said,
EVERY SINGLE PLAYER goes through bad stretches

Not saying he’s been producing,
But I do believe Okposo has shown to be a good enough player that I feel he will come out of it

Toews has something like an 18 game stretch in the playoffs without a goal

Do u really not understand that ALL players struggle at times?

You could be right, perhaps I'll join you come December or if they start selling pieces earlier than that.

But I'm being patient here.

They matter for us.

When you are extremely good at them or extremely bad they make a difference.

Most teams are close
