Sure, jack scores. But I’m still waiting to see next level performance. Like take the game over elite performance.

Sam seems like a problem. Entitled. Where has been his performance been in relation to his draft position? Not that draft position matters.

And ROR- here’s the thing. I would bet part of him agreeing to his new contract with us was guaranteed center and leadership role. Those are the issues he had with Colorado that we heard in the media.

So here’s the biggest thing. If we keep ROR then Sam plays wing. If we keep ROR, we need to get rid of Sam.

This all stems from our terrible gms and then thinking they have landed the big fish when we signed the buns who would agree to play in western New York.

Okposo, ROR, moulson, etc. all looked good on other teams. We think they will transfer their skills and attitudes here a la nhl 2018. Th don’t. Why not? Fan boy owner-> chums around with players. -> no accountability. Lazy play.

Are you implying that the reason he is playing like poop in a contract year is because he has a grudge? I dont know how that would benefit him in any way.

sabres were built wrong. in that it was rushed. as for habs they should have started rebuilding 2 years ago instead of band aids. difference with leafs and sabres was the building of management team. the leafs management team has been flawless. Hunter is the talent architect of the leafs. dumas verifies the numbers. lou is an operational genius and shannahan had the vision and sold it to ownership. babs is the generals of generals. the leafs are deep deep and thats due to drafting. plain and simple hunter. if the sabres had half a brain thats a guy they should try to hijack. the sabres need to stop with the band aid fixes. oh and another thing just because you pay a guy 10 Million dollars doesn t make him a 10 million dollar player. and you know who im referring to. he s a 7.5 mil player. only good thing about that contract for sabres is now the leafs gotta really pay for mathews. but still a stupid move for sabres.

Exactly. Instead, we hire some 5th line talent who could barely play for a historically bad Sabres team (boterill) and the guy who used to coach a high school team and the lost the Stanley cup last year. He’s supposed to make the defense better but who is he gonna make better? The scrubs we have? Get outta here!!!
