that's where I thought he was headed - Michael Pachla
E-rod breaking his wrist sealed that deal. I think Bailey will stay so someone is going back down...he's been in the press box so is certainly a candidate for it.
Pach, whatever they are paying you to write our blogs, ask for a raise. Or ask for some type of "pain and punishment" bonus at year's end (April for the Sabres). You are a beacon of hope during another year that is quickly flushing down the toilet.
Agree with your point about Tennyson and Buy-low on PP#2. They are brutal. Same with Pooh-u-lot and Griffith. Thankfully none of them are on this team beyond this year - maybe Buy-low as a 7th defender.
Regarding the forwards, way too many passengers right now. Besides Kane, Pommer, ECHL amongst our "stars", none of the others are playing anywhere near their abilities. However Girgs and Nolan have surprised to the upside but if we are relying on those two to rally the team, we really are in a deep western New York sinkhole.
Like you said in your last paragraph, they just need to shut up and win - starting tonight in Beantown. NO MORE EXCUSES!

Or a Vanek...
Seriously though. Is Eichel good? Rick Nash scored tons of goals on terrible “JAX” teams. Matthews is lighting it up.
Sure, jack scores. But I’m still waiting to see next level performance. Like take the game over elite performance.
Sam seems like a problem. Entitled. Where has been his performance been in relation to his draft position? Not that draft position matters.
And ROR- here’s the thing. I would bet part of him agreeing to his new contract with us was guaranteed center and leadership role. Those are the issues he had with Colorado that we heard in the media.
So here’s the biggest thing. If we keep ROR then Sam plays wing. If we keep ROR, we need to get rid of Sam.
This all stems from our terrible gms and then thinking they have landed the big fish when we signed the buns who would agree to play in western New York.
Okposo, ROR, moulson, etc. all looked good on other teams. We think they will transfer their skills and attitudes here a la nhl 2018. Th don’t. Why not? Fan boy owner-> chums around with players. -> no accountability. Lazy play. - Da_Cashman
You mean like the Kings away game(home media name stars) they lost and Eichel didn't get a point, but was still the 1st star? That kind of performance? So many clueless people here.
"Sure Jack scores" Uh, isn't that what he's paid to do? Also see above about when he doesn't score. Eichel has 10 points in 8 games good for 9th in the league, and is tied with Matthews, Crosby, Patrick Kane, and Malkin and has more points than Jesus himself(8). All that on a team that is 27th in goals per game. What a lazy (frank)...

Jesus Christ. - Wetbandit1
Hallelujah and Amen. Guy gets first star in a game like that and is on pace for 102pts. People say he should be doing more? (frank)me.

Never had one, hear they're gamey. - Wetbandit1
Ones I've had haven't been gamey, but less fat than cow, so not as much flavour.
I used to grill up a couple at Bills tailgates and make everyone eat a piece, so that we would all have the spirit of the buffalo inside of us for the game.
Never worked - Bills always sucked.
But this year is looking good. Not gonna curse them, but 4-2 looks realistic.
Yes I just don’t think arguing about a stupid horrible call is the the right move we got outplayed And it’s just a make up goal call for us - GERBE!!!75PTS
however, it should be pointed out...they spent over 4 1/2 minutes on that and got it wrong...
I agree that the call wasn't the sole reason for them losing, as they sucked for the most part, but that's a momentum changer and to get it wrong is as unacceptable as the sabres play
